Actiive And Passive Constructions
Actiive and passive constructions
The active voice and the passive voice are the two voices of the ver. The sentence happens to be an active voice when the subject is the doer of the action, for example "Monique washed the clothes". The passive voice happens when the subject of the sentence has an action, but it is done by someone or something else, for example "The clothes were washed by Monique."
